About

I’m a social scientist with a slight computer science twist. My research interests lie at the intersection of society and technology and include political and social polarization, social media and the use of computational methods in social sciences. Ultimately, I hope to do my small part to help humanity live long and prosper.

As of November 2019, I’m a doctoral researcher at the University of Helsinki. Feel free to contact me about my research, ideas for co-operation, or anything else.

I’m often found online using the pseudonym aasitus. One could translate this as ‘the act of donkeying’ or as an obscure slang word for a ‘scam’, but probably shouldn’t.

I looked pretty much like this in December 2016.

I looked pretty much like this in December 2016. I guess I still do.
